XOOM 2 FEATURE | LATEST MOTOROLA XOOM 2 FEATURE | LATEST UPDATE OF XOOM 2 | LATEST MOTOROLA MOBILE | LATEST XOOM 2 MOBILE | LATEST MOTOROLA PRODUCT | FEATURES OF XOOM 2 | FEATURES OF MOTOROLA XOOM 2

Now that there are numerous tablets on the market we cannot only discuss about Apple’s iPad therefore we focus our attention to other manufacturers as well. One of the tablet makers who recently joined the market is Motorola who should have sold millions of these babies. The specs of the Motorola Xoom are the best as they can get, but a poor marketing strategy has led to a partial fiasco. Anyway, according to the rumor mill, the Motorola Xoom 2 is already being tested and it should become available early next year.
An inside source has leaked some of the specs of the Motorola Xoom 2 and by taking a look at them we can understand with it’s “X”oom “2″ – double everything. The next-gen Xoom tablet will run on a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 10.1-inch touchscreen display at 2048 x 1536 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio which will finally allow Android users to read books properly in portrait mode.
One of the main issues with the Motorola Xoom is that you cannot read properly in portrait mode because… uhm, well, 16:9 aspect ratio was not made for portrait reading. We don’t truly know how accurate this information is because Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich should unite smartphone and tablets under one therefore aspect ratio issues should be fixed in this version. This means that the users wouldn’t actually need a 4:3 touchscreen.
There are so many if’s and but’s therefore we shouldn’t confirm anything for the moment. People don’t have to be geniuses to think that Motorola is working on a second generation Xoom, but it’s among the first times we’ve heard some words about the specs of the tablet.
The Motorola Xoom 2 will get a significant bump in specs and this can only help the consumers who will definitely have a harder choice to make next year when the iPad 2, next-gen Galaxy Tab series, and the Moto Xoom 2 will be released. Until then, stay tuned cause we’ll be here, keeping you updated with the latest technology news.
